One Week
Well, it has been a week since I posted anything. Things have been busy for me at work. If you read my last post, you will remember we were going through an audit at work. It was completed on Friday, and we came out with a rating of "excellent" for both Youth House programs. I am very happy about the results, but equally happy that it is over. Other than work, I haven't been doing anything exciting or interesting, but that's OK too. Truth be told, by the time I get home from work, I am tired and don't do much but sit and watch TV. I haven't even been on the computer much. We have been having rain almost every day, but at least it isn't raining all day; just in the evening. Poor folks in and around Dallas are having some flooding. Hope it isn't that close to Richardson.

Yes, the flooding and devestation
to property is all around Richardson. Rain and more rain. Even maybe up to 10 deaths so far.
People just can't seem to get it.
Don't drive through standing water!
AND, it doesn't have to be very high.

Yeah! Must be a great accomplished feeling to get an excellent rating. Hopefully that will mean a raise in funding? Lots and lots of rain but the creek by our house is still not overflowing, although the news reported today a teenager fell in and was swept away. Doesn't sound like he died, but they did not list how serious his condition was.
We had to cancel our Wednesdays In The Park tonight because it just keeps coming here. Stay dry.
Cathy I am proud of you for being such a good example and employee. I hope it means a little raise for you as well. Colorado is not as wet as LA and Dallas, but it has been raining some off and on. We can't decide to keep the air conditioner running or not. Tonight is cool so the windows are open! Love to your family. Caren
