Just how many products does Billy Mays tout? He does OxiClean, Orange Clean, Orange Glo, and Kaboom. He also does Zorbeez, Lint-B-Gone lint brush, Samurai Shark knife sharpener, and more. Am I the only one who thinks that Billy Mays shouts? Who is Billy Mays anyway? Why does he get to tell his name? I would really like to know the names of the Angel Soft Angels, why don’t they tell us who they are?
The commercials I like the least are ANY about medicine, such as:

Enough about commercials. Do you have a favorite? Which ones do you detest? I like the funny ones such as:

What I wish is that they would play them all at the beginning or end of a program. I guess they are afraid we would all not sit through them now, although isn't that what TIVO is about is being able to cut through the commercials? I haven't heard of Bill Mays but have heard of some of the products. I don't like the ones where kids are being disrespectful of parents. I hate the one where the kid sprays his mom with the bottle of soda and she sprays him back. I hate the "Head On" commercials and find them annoying. I like funny ones too, can't think of any examples right now. I do like cute kids like the Welch's kids. Worse than commercials though is the fact we pay all this extra for cable and there still is nothing on T.V.!! I like the Game Show Network but even then I get tired of it. I got addicted to Everybody Loves Raymond when I was in the hospital (never watched it before that) Anyway...hope the perfect job comes along soon so that you don't have to spend so much time in front of the tube.
RE Billy Mays:
Yes, he shouts very loudly and somehow the ad-maker thinks this will make us pay attention. It does! We pay attention to the mute button on our remote.
In South Bend, IN, we have a furniture dealer who also has loudly shouted commercials [although not with Billy Mays]. It's cheap furniture, so in our area, shouting ads have come to represent cheap products. So much for the marketing geniuses.
