My Picture

I have to tell you all that Alyssa took the picture I posted on my blog.  She was standing in the back of my truck and asked if she could take a picture of me.  I think she did a pretty good job.  Since the picture is not a "close up", and you can't see all my wrinkles, gray hair, age spots etc., I decided to put it in my blog.  Anyway that is the story of my picture.

I got a phone call the other day and it was Alyssa.  She says, Nana, guess what?  I lost my tooth. She was so excited!  She wanted me to come over right away to see it.  Unfortunately, when I went to see her (on Saturday), she had spent the night at a friends house and was not home.  I had taken my camera so I could take a picture and post it, but didn't get the opportunity.

So far no luck finding employment.  But it will happen, it is just a matter of time.  I keep looking everyday.  I usually use Louisiana Works (on-line) but haven't had any responses to my resumes.  OH Well.  I am going to take the Civil Service test on Saturday, so hopefully that will bear fruit.  Not much going on with me right now.  Been spending too much time in front of the TV.  My next post will be about commercials.  Hope everyone has a great day.
