Misery
Three weeks of Misery will be over today. For the last three weeks, Misery has been on stage at Strauss. Today is the last performance. It is a play that is based on Stephen King's novel. It is not as intense as the movie, but it is still a thriller. The actress playing Annie Wilkes is wonderful. I have heard comments from the audience that "she is crazy", "she is psycho", etc. However, I will be glad to put this one to bed and get on to the next show. Our next show is Plaid Tidings. Anyway, at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon I will have completed my first run as evening Box Office Manager. I did OK, and it was enjoyable. I sincerely miss not being able to work backstage. I will eventually get used to it. I took a few photos of Misery. I was at the back of the auditorium, so they are not close ups. Hope everyone has a great week!
