I can't remember how I found this story, but I like it. Wish more parents did this kind of thing. I am sure there are multitudes of folks who think this cruel and unsual;some probably think it constitutes some form of child abuse, but I say WAY TO GO, MOM!
'Mean Mom' Sells Son's Car After Misdeed

DES MOINES, Iowa — Jane Hambleton has dubbed herself the "meanest mom on the planet." After finding alcohol in her son's car, she decided to sell the car and share her 19-year-old's misdeed with everyone — by placing an ad in the local newspaper.
The ad reads: "OLDS 1999 Intrigue. Totally uncool parents who obviously don't love teenage son, selling his car. Only driven for three weeks before snoopy mom who needs to get a life found booze under front seat. $3,700/offer. Call meanest mom on the planet.

I don't think I'd have the courage to go that far, but, as a parent, I support her decision.
So far, I've been blessed with kids that don't cause that type of trouble. But then again, Daniel's not fully grown yet. I guess I'll start sleeping with one eye open.
