Now it is time to reveal my favorite sitcoms. I suppose if you didn't know my age, you might be able to tell simply by my choices. I really do find it interesting that I like the "oldies".
1. I Love Lucy. Absolutely wonderful. The slapstick, the facial expressions of the cast, the predicaments Lucy got herself into.
2. The Cosby Show. I don't remember many "belly laughs" while watching this show, but it was funny and there was always a moral to the stories.
3. Three's Company. Here's another example of a show with a little slapstick involved. Misunderstanding was probably the biggest form of humor. Filmed in front of a live audience. No laugh tracks on this one.
4. Friends. Yes, I liked Friends. I don't know what made it funny, probably just the interactions between the characters.
5. The Dick Van Dyke Show. The antics of Rob Petrie. Another show that involved physical antics. This show included humorous takes of subjects not usually seen on sitcoms, including religion, race, death, infidelity, and psychiatry.
It was difficult to narrow my list to 5. So I will give honorable mention to the ones that didn't make my top 5, but I sure thought about them. Happy Days, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanine, Home Improvement, and dare I say The Beverly Hillbillies.
What are your favorite and why?

1: Friends - always made me laugh, interesting plotlines and good up until the very end.
2: Scrubs - absolutely my type of weird, random humor but every episode always had a moral about life.
3: Seinfeld - Speaks for itself
4: Everybody Loves Raymond - Very family friendly humor and very, very funny
5: Three's Company - Jack Tripper is my hero.
I will also give some honorable mentions to Cosby Show, The Office, ALF and Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
I Love Lucy is my alltime favorite too! She and Ethyl were just too much fun.
Home Improvement-loved Wilson!
Andy Griffith-Barney is my guy.
Will make me a nerd but I loved Full House- loved Joey!
When I was in the hospital I began watching Everyone Loves Raymond. Had not seen it before then. It made me laugh every night! Thank goodness for cable. Brad Garrett was my favorite character.
1) Andy Griffith Show (First 5 Seasons) - but I'm not sure if this is a sitcom or a Bible lesson. Barney was the best character ever created for TV!
2) Seinfeld - still quoting today - timeless, funny, and master of my haha-domain.
3) King of Queens - mirrors my life - fat knucklehead with beautiful, pragmatic wife - he constantly gets into trouble, she's always on his case - wow, the writers must have been hanging around my house.
4) The Office - I hope this can go on for a good, long time - that's what she said.
5) Wings - yep, Cathy, you can shriek - but those characters are like my family now.
