I have a wonderful friend in Steve Munz. He is always looking out for my best interest. He is always checking up on me with questions such as:
1. How are your knees? When are you going to get your knees looked at?
2. When’s the last time you ate? Do you have any food in the house?
3. Do you need any tools? Do you have needle nose pliers?
4. How's your truck? Having problems? You changing the oil every 3,000 miles?
5. When’s the last time you got a raise? Talk to Bernadine and tell her to pay you what you are worth.
6. How’s your allergies? You taking anything?
Steve had recently been concerned that my mobile home wasn’t level, because the door to the laundry room looked crooked and the door to my bedroom wasn’t closing properly. With all that said, on Memorial day, Steve needed to get the oil changed in his vehicle. None of the regular oil change places were open. So we ended up at the local Wal-Mart tire and service center. While waiting for the oil change, we did a little shopping. I wanted to get a curtain for my bedroom window and some coffee. Steve found the "levels". He purchased a level and when we returned he began using the level on various things. In the end, he decided my home was "on the level".
We all need friends like Steve. I hope you have one. I’m glad that I do.
