Tagged

I have been tagged by several folks. I posted on myspace, but I'll follow pard's example and repost here. I will admit to adding more information than the one on myspace. For some reason, I find it difficult to talk about myself, especially "feelings".

1. I am blind in my left eye. I don't remember the event, but according to my parents, when I was 3 or 4 I was running with a stick in my mouth and fell. It poked me in the back of my throat. I was taken to the doctor and given a tetnus shot. The next morning my left eye was "turned out". I had surgery to straighten it.

2. In my youth, a group of kids (including myself) from the neighborhood would sometimes go to new home construction areas and turn over porta-potties. YUCK. When my dad found out, he was extremely upset!

3. I dislike going to the doctor, and have to be extremely ill, before I even consider it. I have this rant about the health system. If you want to hear it, just ask.

4. I wish I could sing well. I don't sing in the shower, and very rarely sing while I am driving. This is because I don't want people to hear me!

5. I lived in southern Germany in a town called Swaebisch Hall. I would love to go back, it was beautiful there. Got to see lots of neat stuff like the "Burning of the Heidleburg Castle", the place where they held the Nuremburg trials, etc.

6. I once lived in a haunted house. Very unusual things would happen, but I was never scared, and I never saw the ghost. Lights would come on, doorknobs turn, kitchen drawers opened, pocket change missing, etc.

7. My mom passed away when I was 13. After all these years, I can still remember what happened and how I felt.

8. Even though I love theatre, I don't take time to get to know plays. Sometimes
I am embarrassed to admit that I haven't heard of a certain play, or that I have heard of it, but don't know a thing about it.

9. I wish I had the money to travel the world, heck, even the United States. I have dreamed of just being able to get in the car and go where ever the road takes me. Anybody want to go the the Mall of America?

10. I love to go fishing. I haven't been in years, and miss it. It is so peaceful sitting in a boat out on a lake. I bought a truck instead of a car because it was my intention to use it to pull a boat. 10 years later, and I still don't have a boat, and probably never will. Anybody want a fishing partner?

Cathy, you are always welcome to come out to lunch with us anytime! The only person we don't mind being there is what's-her-face. Right Mark?

"Amen" to Matt's comment.

Regarding your 10 random items, all you did was whet my appetite. You lived in Germany? You lived in a haunted house? You turned over porta-potties? We need to hear more!
