NIHT

I am a huge fan of the X-Files. One of the shows was NIHT or, Nothing Important Happened Today. That's how I would describe today. It's quite tonight, except for the sound of the dishwasher. My son is at work with the W. Monroe Police Department. He is a communications officer. This is where he works.

Steve was unable to come over because he had a rehearsal for the dinner theatre show. When I got home, I looked at the dishes that needed washing, the clothes that needed washing and politely sat down and watched TV. The mess will still be there tomorrow. However, after a while, I couldn't stand it and got up and did a load of laundry, made a grilled cheese sandwich and then loaded up the dishwasher. I guess you could say it is boring, but it has been relaxing. I hope everyone has a NIHT from time to time. When you do, enjoy it.
