Matt's Vacation

I haven’t posted in a while (weeks between my posts is becoming status quo). My work situation is still plaguing me, and frankly, I am tired of posting about it. For now, I am still employed at Youth House and will continue working there. None of the applications I have submitted have led to any job offers. So I have decided that from this point on, I will not do any more job searching unless I have to.

Matt went to El Paso to visit his dad. They took a trip on an old steam powered locomotive. It is the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. The trip starts in Chamas, NM. and goes to Antonio, CO. Here are some pictures of the trip if you would like to view them. Matt came back with over 200 pictures of his trip, so I only posted a few. If you would like to see more, let me know and I will upload more of them. The pictures are good, and it looks like something I would like to to sometime.

If any of you are due a vacation and would like to do something different, here is the web site for the railroad.

I am glad to hear Matt had a good vacation, looks like the train was really historic and fun. Matt is so cute! As I was painting one of my rooms this after noon, it dawned on me that you are able to change the wording on your marquee because it said "Happy Birthday Caren" and silly me thought..now how does my computer know it's my birthday? DUH, not too computer literate! So thank you for the thought! I'M GLAD your are still employed! I sure miss you, take care. Love, Caren

Looks like a fun trip. Glad Matt still gets to spend time with his dad. Too bad he was right here in Dallas and we did not get to see him! Let him know we would even meet him at the airport for a short visit. Got to take advantage of the opportunities we have :)
Sorry you haven't had any job leads. Hope things just keep working out.
