A few free hours

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a week. I have been busy, or working, whatever. There are a total 120 hours in a work week, Monday thru Friday. This week I have spent 69 of those 120 hours at the theatre, leaving only 51 hours for doing the rest of the stuff I need to do, like sleep, wash clothes, etc. Posting a blog was not on the top of my list.

Several things happened this week at the Strauss. Try as we might, we CANNOT keep our fearless leader from climbing ladders. This time, I am happy to report that he did not suffer any accidents, and did not destroy any property. Next time you are in the lobby, take note of walls. Bob went around the entire lobby removing staples, nails, and screws from the walls. Oh, I forgot to mention Bob was on the ladder with a knife! I bet if his mom saw that behavior she would have something to say hahaha. I have provided pictorial evidence.

On Wednesday, the Monroe Police Dept. and the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Dept. had a joint training session at Strauss. They were doing some sort of hostage training. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera available to take pictures. They "practiced" at both the mainstage and the young troupe. So, have no fear. If a hostage situation ever develops at Strauss, law enforcement will be able to handle it. If you happened to drive by the theatre last Wednesday and saw the parking lot filled with law enforcement vehicles and SWAT, now you know why.

Thank goodness we will get a few evenings of rest after today's performance. Break a leg!

Cathy, you've got to be careful and not say "break a leg" around Bob. Well, that is, unless he's acting in another production.

Nice to see you're blogging again.
